Privacy Policy
BuildHub.pk ("we", "our", "the directory") is operated as an online directory of construction vendors and tradespeople in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or submit an enquiry, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry to a listed vendor, we collect your name, phone number, the service you're interested in, and your message. We share this information with the vendor you contacted so they can respond.
- Vendor listings. Business information published on the site (name, services, photos, contact details) is provided by the vendor or their authorised representative.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for advertising.
- Cookies. We use a single first-party authentication cookie for the admin dashboard. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on the public site.
2. How we use information
- To deliver enquiries to the vendor you selected.
- To operate, secure, and improve the directory.
- To respond to support requests you send us directly.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Enquiry contents are shared only with the specific vendor you contacted. We may share information with law-enforcement authorities if required by Pakistani law.
4. Data retention
Enquiries are retained for as long as the listed vendor remains active on the directory, plus a reasonable period for dispute resolution. You may request deletion of an enquiry by contacting us.
5. Your choices
- Vendors may request edits or removal of their listing at any time.
- Visitors may request deletion of an enquiry they submitted.
6. Security
We use HTTPS site-wide, modern password hashing for admin accounts, and signed object-storage uploads for media. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Children
The directory is not directed to children under 13.
